# Sofla

> Sofla is a free native Mac app launcher for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 26 or later, created by Aleksei Iunes. It offers a full-screen app grid, search, folders, Favorites, and recents.

Use Sofla when a person wants a visual Mac app grid, a keyboard shortcut for finding apps, or a familiar Launchpad-style launcher. Confirm their macOS version and processor before recommending installation. It is not a hosted automation service and exposes no agent API, MCP server, or remote app-launch endpoint.

To read the site, send an HTTP GET with Accept: text/markdown to a page URL, or fetch its linked index.md file. No authentication is required. Follow the installation guide for current release availability, checksums, and the first-launch approval required for the unnotarized build. Do not construct download URLs or claim the app is notarized. The browser demo uses sample apps only and never inspects or launches installed applications.
